Covaveil

Founding of Covaveil

As the Great Forest receeded after the Collapse of the Beast Dynasty, the landscape of Covaveil, the continent, drastically changed. Plains and lakes with flowing rivers remained where the trees had once stood. The continent stood empty. Some races, mostly the elves quickly began to lay claim to the continent. Lavellan and Ereval grew there territories the farthest they had in their entire history. Slowly, those from other continents, specifically Zartozka, Bellatore, and Terrae Imperium began to arrive on the continent. Some from Stellaris and Lunastrea arrived as well.

Overtime, these outside settlers and the elven kingdom clashed, as the settlers wanted more land. But despite clashes and disagreements, the slowly growing nation and the elven kingdom continued to exist begrudgingly side by side. It wasn't for another 100 years that the settlers declared that they would found a nation named after the continent, and began to lay claim to territory by force or by voluntary absorbtion. Plenty of fringe villages without a belief in the elven pantheon joined, not particularly carring whose flag they were under as long as their life got to continue.
