Crow, raised as Lady Corvalina of Covaguard, was raised in King's Alley as the adopted child of a high-ranking lord. She became educated in the politics of King's Alley and the Game, and as a young woman she became a skilled player. She also was seen studying extracurriculars such as alchemy, archery, and knife play. These extracurriculars didn't seem to sway any of her potential suitors, and she eventually was married to Lord Macken (age 29) at the age of 16. Between then, and the age of 19, she was only ever seen with her lady-in-waiting, Dara when in public, and even then she was rarely seen. Of the 120 balls held in that time, she only attended 3. Allegedly, after a fight that could be heard in King's Alley, Lord Macken was found dead, and Crow and Dara had gone missing in the middle of the night. Weeks later, a drow gang took over Leer's Crook, which was renamed to Crow's Town, and became a bastion of hope for women, and those kicked to the side by the rest of society.
